How come when I run against the wind on the way out...I am so excited to be pushed on the way home...and then the wind STOPS!
or at least it sure feels like it!
I am starting to believe the stories of my dad walking to and from school uphill in the snow!

Yesterdays 4 miles was 2 miles against the wind and 2 other miles against the wind!

  1. I swear the wind changes direction when I'm running sometimes! It's my least favourite running conditions!

By the way did you see my core challenge? There's still time to sign up if you'd be interested in joining in, would love to have you on board :)

  3. That running condition could be a great running drill :) Running against the wind improves the strenght of your legs! I hope that you'll have a better training session during the next weekend.

  6. It happens in England too. We were running round a local reservoir the other day and the wind seemed to be against us all the way. But as others have said, it can only make us stronger - I hope!

  7. My suggestion is enjoy the wind. It should help to cool you down. What else can you do? :)

    Love you young lady.

  9. Did he have to wear newspapers on his fee? Sorry, I love that one. I too am convinced the wind just ceases as soon as I head back. So not fair.

  14. That's rough! At least you pushed through and got more bang for you buck (even if painful).

  15. Wind and running just work that way. I must admit I hate the wind at the best of times.

  16. My long run on Wednesday was windy too! I do not like to run in the wind! The only good part was at least there wasn't snow blowing in my face like some days in the winter!
