A Little Foggy!

WOW!
What a long drawn out illness!
It's been over two week and I still have a foggy head!
At least I am feeling somewhat better!

The main question I am getting is...
Are you pregnant?????
I can understand...since usually when I am ill, I am pregnant...especially when it drags on for days and weeks!
But......

NO!
I am not!
Just clogged up!

I have been helping out with the Junior High Cross Country kids...unfortunately due to weather, we have had more canceled practices, than actual practices!
It is fun to encourage young kids to be all they can be...and to believe in themselves!
I enjoy their young spirits!

Home school is dreamy! My kids and I are enjoying every moment as we learn together!
They work hard...and they are self motivated...which in return, makes my job easier!

My running...is patiently waiting for me to feel better! I love that friend...it seems to always be there!

  4. Feel better soon.
Homeschooling is best, I think. It is a lot of work but it is fun.
When I did cross country, a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, bad weather never canceled training sessions. I wish I could had told our coach that 'other kids don't have to, so why do we have to get wet and muddy?' :)

  6. I'm so glad you are enjoying your new adventure in home schooling! It sounds like your kids are enjoying it too!

Running breaks are good for us! I intend to take a week off after my 1/2 in October. But due to my 1000 mile goal for the year I will have to keep up until the end of the year!

Hope you feel better soon! Amidst your foggy head it sounds like you've been doing a ton!

  7. Glad you are feeling better. I have to ask. How does the homeschooling work when you are really ill? There isn't a substitute teacher. Just wondering how you handle it? thanks!!
